The Fix – Kansas City Vegan
One of my favorite vegan chicken sandwiches comes from The Fix, and I’m talking about the Carolina Sammie. I will bet it’s the best vegan chicken sandwich in Kansas City. A gigantic chicken cutlet slathered in Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce and laid on a bed of pickles on a brioche bun, absolutely delicious. The local Kombucha was impressive. The grilled cheese was a step above the average grilled cheese you would find at other vegan restaurants. The butternut squash soup was unexpectedly good, I really enjoyed that. My first time trying Peprika mayo, and I am very pleased. And the fries that came with the sammie, on top of there being a ton of them, actually were pretty great.
