Peanut Butter Banana Bread

Ingredients
Bread Ingredients (All Vegan Options)
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup milk I used oat milk
- 3 whole bananas ripe bananas work best
- 1/2 cup butter melted (but not hot)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cane sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- apple cider vinegar into a 1/4 cup measuring cup, then fill with milk (let sit for 10 mins to turn into buttermilk)
- add bananas to mixing bowl and mash
- add buttermilk, melted butter, applesauce, and vanilla extract to the mixing bowl with bananas.
- add cane sugar and brown sugar
- add peanut butter and mix to combine
- add chocolate chips and fold to incorporate
- use parchment paper or grease to line a bread pan, then add the contents of the mixing bowl
- oven at 375f and bake for 55-60 mins
- remove and allow to cool for about 30 mins
- add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk to a small mixing bowl to make the glaze
- drizzle the glaze on top of the cooled loaf
