Bread Ingredients (All Vegan Options)
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup milk I used oat milk
- 3 whole bananas ripe bananas work best
- 1/2 cup butter melted (but not hot)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cane sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
apple cider vinegar into a 1/4 cup measuring cup, then fill with milk (let sit for 10 mins to turn into buttermilk)
add bananas to mixing bowl and mash
add buttermilk, melted butter, applesauce, and vanilla extract to the mixing bowl with bananas.
add cane sugar and brown sugar
add peanut butter and mix to combine
add chocolate chips and fold to incorporate
use parchment paper or grease to line a bread pan, then add the contents of the mixing bowl
oven at 375f and bake for 55-60 mins
remove and allow to cool for about 30 mins
add powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk to a small mixing bowl to make the glaze
drizzle the glaze on top of the cooled loaf
